Armenia’s Elina Danielyan keeps the lead at FIDE Grand Prix series in Doha, Qatar.
Defeating Georgia’s Nana Dzagnidze in round 4, Danielyan tops the standings with 4 points, being 1.5 points ahead of her rivals. Martha Fierro of Ecuador and Marie Sebag of France come 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Meanwhile, Lilit Mkrtchyan suffered a defeat by Maya Chiburdanidze (Georgia) and is currently 11th.
In round 5, Danielyan and Mkrtchyan will face Xu Yuhua (China) and Batkhuyag Munguntuul respectively.
