ARMENIA AND RUSSIA TO CONCLUDE LONG-TERM TREATY ON GAS SUPPLY

Armenia and Russia intend to conclude a long-term treaty on Russian gas supply to Armenia. Co-chairman of the Armenia-Russian group on economic cooperation, Russian minister of industry, science and technologies Ilya Klebanov stated today at the briefing. In his words, the discussion concerning this issue took place on Armenian party’s initiative. “Russia completely shares Armenia’s opinion on the necessity of signing such a treaty for a term of 5 years, as it will have vital importance for the further development of chemical industry in Armenia,” – I.Klebanov said.
