US ambassador to Armenia John Ordway today denied assumptions that the visit of the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs to the region of the Karabakh conflict had been postponed due to differences between the mediators, “Mediamax” agency reports. “There is no discord between the co-chairs, and they maintain successful cooperation,” – he noted adding the OSCE mediators would visit the region “at the first convenient moment.” The co-chairing countries expected the current year to be hard for the Karabakh settlement due to election in Armenia and Azerbaijan, the diplomat reminded. “However, new ones added to these difficulties, specifically those connected with the state of health of the Azeri president,” – J. Ordway said.
