The US is satisfied with relations with Armenia and we do not intend to compare them with those with other countries. US ambassador to Armenia John Ordway told journalists in Yerevan today. In his words, Washington shows understanding towards Yerevan urge to follow a balanced foreign policy that takes into account both the US and Russian interests. The ambassador also emphasized Washington had addressed Yerevan on a number of important foreign policy issues many times and “always achieved mutual understanding with the Armenian party.” “Of course there are matters concerning which the US and Armenia have differing stands, however I consider it to be a normal practice in relations between states,” – the US diplomat noted.
