The Russian football team and London’s Arsenal forward Andrei Arshavin commented on the oncoming UEFA EURO 2012 qualifier against Armenia.
“I think we’re up for uneasy match. We know Armenian team lives in expectation of this game. We’re also well aware of the expectations of our fans and know we’ll to be able to fulfill them,” the forward’s official website cited him as saying.
The forward said he hopes that the series of Russian team’s undefeated official matches will continue.
“I’d like to thank all of our fans, be them in Armenia or in front of their TVs, rooting for us,” Arshavin said.
