Aronian 1 point ahead of Carlsen before Amber last round

Armenia’s Levon Aronian beat Bulgaria’s Veselin Topalov in round 10 of the 20th Amber Blindfold and Rapid Chess Championship.

The Armenian grandmaster tops the tournament standings with 14.5 points, passing 1 point ahead of Norway’s Magnus Carlsen. In the last round, Aronian will face Sergey Karjakin of Russia.
