Head of the Russian supporter association (VOB) Alexander Shprygin is hostile to information that Russian fans’ temperance will be checked by the Police at the entrance of stadium to host Armenia-Russia Euro 2012 qualifier.
Shprygin stated that VOB will advise the police of the Russian city, which will host the return match, to come up with some idea. “Let them check [Armenian fans] for something, for example, for drugs in blood,” he said.
Shprygin disregarded the fact that the aforementioned decision was adopted for safety reasons and as a result of several incidents with participation of drunk Russian fans at Yerevan airport and downtown Yerevan.
