RUSSIAN STATE DUMA RATIFIED TREATIES ON PASSING ARMENIAN ENTERPRISES TO RUSSIA TO CLEAR DEBTS

The Russian State Duma has ratified treaties between the Russian and Armenian governments on passing a number of Armenian enterprises to Russia for clearing debts to the Russian Federation. As reported by Russian sources, deputy chairman of the Duma committee on international affairs Konstantin Kosachev said. The sitting of the lower chamber of the Federal Council of Russia is being held in a close regime. Let us remind that the agreements signed in 2002 provide for passing “Mars,” “Yerevan Research Institute of Mathematical Machines,” “Research and Industrial Enterprise of Science of Materials” Armenian enterprises and the property complex of the Hrazdan thermoelectric power station to Russia (in exchange for clearing the debt of $93 million).
