A delegation of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), which are against implementation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline (BTC), has arrived in Baku. As written by “Echo” Baku newspaper, the visit aims at monitoring the Azeri segment of the oil pipeline. The delegation consists of 10 representatives of various US, British, Czech, Slovak, Georgian NGOs. It is noteworthy that a representative of Azerbaijan is part of the delegation. Meanwhile, the newspaper does not yet know which of the local NGOs is represented in the delegation coming against the BTC oil pipeline.
