15.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Ahani met today with the Russian State Duma Defense Committee Chairman Andrey Nikolayev in Moscow. The Iranian diplomat called for organizing a meeting with the participation of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia and Iran to discuss measures to ensure security in Transcaucasus.
At the second stage Ahani favored Turkey’s participation, IRNA reports.
