Pyunik enjoy their visit to Artsakh

On June 28, Armenia 2010 champions Pyunik FC played a friendly with the Mountainous Artsakh local club, the match ending 2:1.

Besides, Pyunik held different beneficial events.

Goalkeeper Arsen Petrosyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that the trip proved to be very interesting and lively. Commenting on the friendly, he said that “Mountainous Artsakh shows middle level football and the game was not bad.”

Halfback Gagik Poghosyan said 8-hour trip was as force training for them. “It is very good that we could make many people happy, especially children. I think such actions will help develop football in Artsakh,” he said.

On June 29, the team visited the Church Ghazanchetsots in Shushi and then returned to Yerevan.

From June 30, the club will start training for the second Champions League qualifier against Czech Viktoria which is scheduled for July 12 at Vazgen Sargsyan stadium.
