15.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Pentagon officials warn members of Congress that the possibility of a peace brokered between Turkey and Armenia will be dashed by passing the Resolution, calling on U.S. government to acknowledge the Armenian Genocide, reports Turkish Daily News paper.
According to the paper, Pentagon officials also think that it will damage Ankara-Yerevan relations in the long term and will make it difficult to reach any solution in the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. -0-
