MOSCOW ARMENIANS HELD MEETING NEAR TURKISH EMBASSY IN RUSSIA

April 24 wreaths were laid to the Khachkar near the temple of Christ the Savior and the monument of the victims of the Armenian Genocide near Armenian church of Vagankov cemetery in Moscow in the memory of the Genocide victims in the Ottoman Turkey in 1915. The diplomatic corpse of the Armenian embassy in Russia headed by ambassador Armen Smbatian, representatives of the Union of Armenians of Russia, Armenian community of Moscow participated in the mourning measure. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, the same day a large group of Moscow Armenians gathered near the Turkish embassy in Moscow, calling to recognize and blame the barbarous annihilation of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire early last century.
