ARMENIA INTENDS TO PROMOTE COOPERATION WITH ITALIAN REGIONS

Within the framework of his coming official visit to Italy in March 2004 chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Artur Baghdasarian will visit Toscana region. The arrangement on that was reached yesterday in the course of a Yerevan meeting of A. Baghdasarian with Toscana governor Ricardo Nencini. The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, specifically those referring to implementation of the agreement on cooperation between Yerevan and Toscana signed in 1996.
