The process of Armenia’s integration into European structures is progressing rather rapidly, OSCE Yerevan Office head Vladimir Pryakhin said today. In his words, by having passed a range of important laws in 2003, Armenia made a stride on the way of democratization. At the same time, the diplomat noted, Armenia has to make much effort to become a full member of the European family. It should be reminded that in the course of yesterday’s special session the Parliament of Armenia passed a law on alternative military service, thus fulfilling another commitment to the Council of Europe.
