It is high time to start active work for the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. Such an opinion is held by official Paris, in the words of French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Chantal Poiret. The Ambassador emphasized that France always took active part in the work of the OSCE Minsk Group on the Karabakh conflict resolving and expressed regret over the interval in the negotiation process that became obvious during the current year because of the illness of Azeri President Heydar Aliyev and the elections in Armenia and Azerbaijan. The Ambassador informed that the French government invited Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to France on a formal visit in 2004, Interfax agency reports.
