CLOSED MEETING OF PARLIAMENT LEADERS OF “CAUCASIAN FOUR” TO BE HELD IN TBILISI

April 30 the recurrent meeting of parliament leaders of the “Caucasian four” countries – chairman of the Council of Federation of Russia Sergey Mironov, speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Armen Khachatrian, Georgian parliament leader Nino Burjanadze and Azeri Milli Mejlis chairman Murtuz Aleskerov – is planned in Tbilisi. As reported by Georgian media referring to the country parliament speaker, the participants of the closed meeting will discuss a number of urgent problems in the region. Let us note that it is already the fourth meeting within the given format. As earlier stated by Russian speaker Sergey Mironov, the practical outcome of the meetings of “the Caucasian four” is “establishment of trust” between the heads of the parliaments of the four neighbor states.
