ANOTHER SYMBOL DEVOTED TO ARMENIAN GENOCIDE APPEARED IN FRANCE

The opening of a monument to victims of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey, erected in a street named “April 24, 1915,” was held in Sarcelles French city. As noted at the opening ceremony by Armenian ambassador to France Edvard Nalbandian, over 100 symbols in the country that are devoted to the Armenian Genocide confirm that France official recognition of the Armenian Genocide reflected the will of the whole French nation. The ambassador reported that according to the minister of justice of France, the legislation of the country lets call to account people, who deny the Armenian Genocide of 1915. Besides, in E. Nalbandian’s words, French minister of education in his turn said the topic of the Armenian Genocide might be included in the school curricula.
