EURO 2012 director in Ukraine criticized implementation of city transport renovation program in Kyiv and Lviv.
“Kharkiv and Donetsk were the only ones to responsibly address the issue. Visitors have to be provided with proper transportation during EURO 2012 and after the tournament completion. Kyiv and Lviv virtually failed the program,” podrobnosti.ua quoted Markian Lubkiwski as saying.
As reported earlier, Kyiv will spend a loan of EUR 58 million from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on 185 buses and 140 trolleybuses of high and super-high capacity produced at a Minsk-based motor works.
