Armenia drops to 8th place at Women World Chess Team Championship

Armenia suffered a 0,5:3,5 defeat by India at the Women World Team Chess Championship in Madrin, Turkey.

Lilit Mkrtchyan played in a draw while Elina Danielian, Lilit Galoyan and Nelly Aginian lost their games. The Armenian team dropped to the 8th place with 6 points. China leads with 13.5 points, followed India and Russia.

In round 5, Armenia will face Turkey, which is currently 6th with 7.5 points.
