Yesterday one of the squares of Alfortville city was renamed into Oshakan Square as a sign of fraternization with Oshakan Armenian town. As reported by the press service of the foreign ministry of Armenia, it is the second “Armenian” square in Alforville, the first being Ashtarak Square. Alfortville mayor Rene Rouquet, as well as the leadership of Oshakan town and the Aragatsotn Armenian region, to which it belongs, participated in the ceremony.
