AT PACE WINTER SESSION ISSUE OF EXPELLING AZERBAIJAN MAY BE RAISED

Rapporteur of the monitoring committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Andreas Gross said in Baku today that the issue of expelling Azerbaijan from that organization may be raised at the PACE winter session. In his words, the majority of PACE members “are shocked by the presidential election held in Azerbaijan.” As reported by “Mediamax” agency, Gross reported his intention to hand president Ilham Aliyev a package of proposals, the realization of which can prevent passing a negative decision over Azerbaijan.
