Executive director of the International Monetary Fund Horst Koehler offered Russian government to assume the responsibility for activation of the Armenian and Middle Asian republics’ economies. As reported by Strana.ru, answering the journalists’ questions the other day, he highlighted the influence of Russia at the post soviet territory. At the same time H. Koehler promised to order the IMF corresponding department to prepare certain guarantees for the economic growth in Armenia and Middle Asian counties upon his arrival to Washington and hand these working out to the Russian government. To remind, H. Koehler visited Armenia and met with the Prime Minister of the country early this week.
