Upon the completion of his working visit to Germany Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian left for Moscow today. In the course of the two-day visit to the Russian capital the foreign minister will meet with his Russian counterpart Igor Ivanov November 14. As official representative of the Russian foreign ministry Alexander Yakovenko reported today, the ministers will exchange views on bilateral relations, as well as the most important regional and international issues. In his words, the parties will focus on problems of coordination of efforts of the foreign departments of two countries for improvement of the situation in the South Caucasus, settlement of the conflicts persisting in the region, creation of an atmosphere of confidence for cooperation throughout the Caucasus. Special attention will be paid to the issue of searching for ways to solve the Karabakh problem, the Russian diplomat said. In his words, the Armenian-Russian economic cooperation will be one of the highlighted topics at the talks. “A circumstantial conversation over realization of agreements achieved earlier, specifically, on conveying property for paying off the debt and further running of the Armenian enterprises that have become ownership of Russia is expected,” the official representative of the Russian foreign ministry said.
