By a decree of Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma Armenian ambassador to Kiev Harch Silvanian is presented with Honor Order of second rank. It should be noted that H. Silvanian has completed his diplomatic mission begun already in 1996. Handing the award to the ambassador, L. Kuchma noted his significant personal contribution to the promotion of the Armenian-Ukrainian relations.
