ARMENIAN DELEGATION LEFT FOR SAINT PETERSBURG TO PARTICIPATE IN CIS INTER-PARLIAMENTARY FORUM

The delegation of the Armenian parliament, headed by speaker Artur Baghdasarian has left for Saint Petersburg to participate in the recurrent 22-nd sitting of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly. As reported by the press service of the parliament of Armenia, in the course of the tree-day visit the Armenian speaker will meet with leaders of local self-government of the Leningrad region. Meetings with chairman of the lower chamber of the Tajik parliament Saydullo Khayruloyev, chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh parliament Orabay Abdukarimov, head of the National Assembly of Belarus Gennady Novitsky are also planned. A. Baghdasarian will also meet with representatives of the Armenian community of Saint Petersburg. Within the framework of the forum a scientific conference on the subject of “Perfection of cooperation of CIS countries against international terrorism and its funding” will be held.
