Armenian president Robert Kocharian and Georgian leader Eduard Shevardnadze had a telephone conversation today. As reported by the press service of the president of Armenia, the parties discussed the details referring to the situation in Georgia after the parliamentary election. R. Kocharian expressed hope for the situation to stabilize in shortest possible terms, noting that political stability was important not only to Georgia, but also to Armenia and the whole of the region.
