The Group of Russian Troops in Transcaucasia (GRTT) and Russian military bases in Batumi and Akhalkalaki Georgian cities are in “ordinary regime,” chief of the press center of the GRTT Alexander Lutskevich told “Novosti” Russian agency. “There have been no orders to bring them to alertness. The internal political situation in Georgia does not concern us in any way. The only measure we have taken was giving recommendations to reduce the Russian servicemen leaving the territory of the bases,” Lutskevich said.
