Russian defense minister Sergey Ivanov is not going to discuss with his Armenian counterpart the situation formed in Georgia after the parliamentary election held there, stated the Russian minister, who had arrived in Yerevan on a visit yesterday. “It is the internal affair of the neighboring sovereign state,” he told journalists. At that S. Ivanov ruled out any participation of Russian military, situated in Georgia, in political developments in that country. “The Russian servicemen can use arms only if they are attacked, but I do not think such a scenario can come to someone’s mind,” he said.
