On January 18, Tigran Petrosian Chess House hosted the 7th round of Armenian Chess Championship.
Hrant Melkumyan– Zaven Andriasian, Robert Hovhannisyan – Avetik Grigoryan games ended in a draw.
After a six-hour game, Karen Grigorian also shared points with Samvel Ter-Sahakyan. Meanwhile, Arman Pashikian and Tigran Petrosyan scored wins against Hrayr Simonyan and Levon Babujyan respectively.
With 4,5 points, Melkumyan keeps the lead, with Andriasian, Hovhannisyan and Petrosyan having scored 4 points each.
The 8th round is scheduled for January 19.
