APEX INTERNATIONAL COMPANY MASTERING RUSSIA-GEORGIA-ARMENIA-MIDDLE EAST TRANSPORT CORRIDOR

APEX international organization is going to get familiarized with the Russia-Georgia-Armenia-Middle East transport corridor, director of the company’s representative office in Armenia Georgi Agit stated. In his words, in the near future, two cars – one moving from Tbilisi through Iran and towards the United Arab Emirates, the other from Armenia towards the Northern Iraq (Southern Kurdistan) – will exercise the test route. The first car will be loaded with raw materials and timber while the second one will transport Armenian mineral water. APEX company is assisted by the Iranian government, the latter having lifted some restrictions for the transit loads passing through its territory. “If the project justifies itself, Iran will review its laws for it”, – G. Agit told. In his words, the route through Armenia is rather effective for the suppliers from Iraq, Iran and the UAE to Russia and Europe. At the same time he added that the success of the project depends on Armenia, Georgia and Iran’s consent in many respects for they will have rather big economic and even political dividends in future.
