ARMENIAN AND RUSSIAN SECURITY COUNCIL SECRETARIES DISCUSSED INTERACTION OF TWO COUNTRIES WITHIN CIS AND COLLECTIVE SECURITY TREATY

Today in Yerevan secretary of the Security Council under the Armenian president, defense minister Serge Sargsian and Russian Security Council secretary Vladimir Rushaylo discussed the draft of the program of joint measures between the Security Council of the two countries for 2004. According to the report of the press service of the defense ministry of Armenia, in the course of the meeting the parties also considered issues of cooperation between Armenia and Russia within the CIS and the Treaty on Collective Security. Issues of regional security and struggle against terrorism were also discussed.
