RUSSIAN SECURITY COUNCIL SECRETARY TO DISCUSS INTERACTION WITH ARMENIA IN COMBATING AGAINST TERRORISM AND CRIME

In the course of my current visit the signing of a program of interaction between the Security Councils of Russia and Armenia is expected, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Vladimir Rushaylo stated last evening upon his arrival in Yerevan on a three-day visit. It should be noted that the visit takes place upon the invitation of secretary of the Security Council under the Armenian president, defense minister Serge Sargsian. In Rushaylo’s words, he is expected to meet with the Armenian top leadership and to hold consultations with the heads of the force departments. In the course of the consultations, cooperation between the two countries in combating terrorism, interaction of the law-enforcement structures will be discussed. “We positively evaluate the level of cooperation, however, there are still a number of issues that should be discussed,” the secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation told journalists.
