NO PRIVATE MEETING OF ARMENIAN AND AZERI FOREIGN MINISTERS PLANNED IN BERLIN

There is no agreement on holding a bilateral meeting with Azeri foreign minister Vilayat Guliyev in Berlin, where a forum devoted to South Caucasian problems will be held. Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian told journalists about it today, thus denying the information being spread by Azeri media on the allegedly planned meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries within the framework of “South Caucasus: Political Challenges and Development Prospects” conference, to be held in the German capital November 12-13. Speaking of the present state of the Nagorno Karabakh settlement, V. Oskanian noted that one could judge about it only after the meeting of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs with newly elected leader of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. In his words, the visit of the mediators is approximately planned for the initial half of December.
