ARMENIAN-TURKISH BORDER CAN BE OPENED FOR DIPLOMATS AND TOURISTS, EU DOCUMENT SAYS

The European commission adopted a new document regarding Turkey’s entry to the European Union. As reported by the Turkish sources, Turkish-Armenian relations are as well mentioned in the document called the Report of Progress. It is specifically noted that the frontier between these two countries may be opened for diplomats and tourists. The report welcomes the flight to Yerevan exercised by Flyair Turkish company. According to the information available, in the course of the September’s meeting held in New York, the Turkish and Armenian foreign ministers agreed that Ankara will reconsider its policy regarding connection of the Armenian-Turkish relations with the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
