To contribute to the parliamentary election to be held in Georgia November 2, Armenia has provided 1000 ballot boxes to it. The corresponding agreement between the Central Electoral Commissions (CEC) of Armenia and Georgia was signed in Yerevan today. In the words of deputy chairman of the Georgian CEC Nodar Yepremidze, 1.8 million electors are expected to participate at the coming election, for which 3 thousand boxes will be needed. “We already had two thousand boxes, and the lot provided by Armenia just filled up the lack,” he said. Deputy chairman of the Armenian CEC Hamlet Abrahamian reported in his turn that 6 observers from Armenia would be present at the parliamentary election in Georgia.
