NEWLY FORMED PARLIAMENTARY COMMISSION TO PROMOTE ARMENIA’S INTEGRATION INTO EUROPE

The newly formed parliamentary commission for European integration intends to come out as a profile body when discussing bills and documents, the passing and ratification of which is among the commitments assumed by Armenia when being accepted into the Council of Europe, commission chairman, vice-speaker of the Armenian parliament Tigran Torosian told “Mediamax” agency. In his words, among the main tasks to be fulfilled by the commission are promotion of changes in the Constitution of Armenia, which form the basis for Armenia’s integration into Europe.
