“National Movement-Sahakashvili” Georgian pre-election bloc has accused the Azeri ambassador to Tbilisi in interference with internal affairs of Georgia, demanding expelling him from the country. Last Sunday ambassador Gaji Gajiyev stated that deputy candidates of “National Movement
-Sahakashvili” bloc “are of Armenian descent and have links with Dashnaktsutyun Armenian party,” “Mediamax” agency reported. At that he called to vote in favor of “For New Georgia” bloc at the coming parliamentary election. Representatives of “National Movement-Sahakashvili” said “such actions of the Azeri ambassador represent rude interference with internal affairs of Georgia and the course of the electoral race, thus violating the Vienna Convention and other international acts.”
