Russia is against using force for the settlement of the conflicts available in the post-soviet territories, namely in Nagorno Karabakh, Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie, as reported by Mediamax agency, Russian foreign minister Igor Ivanov stated during the Moscow-New York “television bridge”. Applying of the 7-th article of the UN regulations would hardly satisfy the interests of the long-term settlement of these conflicts, the minister said.
