AZERBAIJANI RULING PARTY TO RECALL ONE OF ITS NOMINEES ELECTION THRESHOLD

Yeni Azerbaijan being the ruling party in Azerbaijan does not intend to participate in the election “with two presidential nominees”, according to the party political council member, Azeri president’s administration head Ramiz Mekhtiyev. In his words, at the election threshold one of the contenders will be recalled and the party with all its might will unite for “mister president”. R. Mekhtiyev added that Heydar Aliyev who is undergoing the completive course of treatment in the Cleveland hospital, the US, will to return to Baku late September. To remind, both senior and junior Aliyevs are nominated for the presidential election set October 15.
