GEORGIAN PARLIAMENTARIAN TO BRING ACTION AGAINST MEDIA OVER GROUNDLESS ACCUSATIONS OF LOCAL ARMENIANS

In an interview with “Media News” agency Georgian parliament deputy Van Baybrutian denied rumor that local Armenians have implication with the explosion taken place in the building of Samtskhe-Javakhetia regional administration September 5. In Baybrutian’s words, some Georgian media consider Armenians residing in the republic the cause of all misfortunes of the Georgian state. V. Baybrutian intends to appeal to judicial bodies on a number of newspapers making groundless accusations against the Armenian population of Georgia, “A-Info” agency reports.
