REPRESENTATIVES OF CIS COUNTRIES TO CONSIDER FORMATION OF COMMON ECONOMIC SPACE

The most important aspects of formation of a free trade zone will become the main topic to be discussed September 5 at the coming sitting of the CIS Economic Council in Moscow. As reported by Russian sources, the CIS Executive Committee “highlights formation of a legal framework, oriented towards international standards in interstate economic relations.” The meeting participants will consider the opportunities of stepwise elimination of barriers in trade between each other, creation of an efficient payment and account system, formation of a corresponding legal base.
