The Central Directorate of Internal Affairs (CDIA) of Moscow has confirmed reports that three Armenians were killed in the Russian capital Saturday. As reported by “Liberty” radio station referring to the press service of the Moscow CDIA, Armenian citizen Vanush Torosian, who according to the data available owns “Dvin” Yerevan hotel, was killed when unknown people fired on GAZ-3110 motorcar. As of the second person killed, the law-enforcement bodies of Moscow do report nothing. It is only known that he was born in 1945 and is a citizen of Armenia, too. The third victim of the crime (born in 1951) had Moscow registration. According to the data provided by militiamen, VAZ-2110 car, by means of which the criminals fled from the site of occurrence then leaving it in one of Moscow streets, was discovered the same night. As reported by a source in the Moscow CDIA, investigators are considering a version, according to which those killed might have been involved in illegal delivery of cheap gold from Yerevan to Moscow.
