Greek military men delegation headed by Greek Armed Forces Chief Georgios Antonakopoulos is arriving in Armenia today. Experts, who are to assess the degree of efficiency of the Armenian soldiers for their participation in the international peacemaking operations together with the Greek peacemaking battalion, serve on the delegation. Meetings of the delegation members with the Armenian military as well as political leadership are outlined. In the course of the visit the parties are also to sign a memorandum on mutual understanding defining the status of Armenian “blue helmets”. A platoon numbering 34 Armenian soldiers will leave for Kosovo with a peacemaking mission next January conceivably.
