ISSUES OF ECONOMIC INTEGRATION WITH RUSSIA TO BE DISCUSSED IN YEREVAN

The issues of economic integration between Armenia and Russia will be discussed at “Cooperation and Integration-2004” bilateral business forum to be held in Yerevan February 20-23, as it was told to Arminfo agency in the Organization Committee of the business forum. According to the source, the measure will take place with the assistance of the RA ministry of trade and economic development and the Union of Manufacturers of Russia. Armenian businessmen presenting the spheres of industry, agriculture and building will take part in the meeting. The representatives of the Union of Manufacturers of Russia and those of the chambers of commerce and industry of Russia, Moscow and Saint Petersburg will arrive in Armenia to present the Russian party. Besides, Russian businessmen involved in the agricultural, industrial, commercial and building spheres are to participate in the forum. To note, according to the data provided by the RA national statistic service, the commodity circulation between Armenia and Russia increased 33,4% during 11 months of 2003.
