Shakhtar Donetsk gained a 3:1 victory over Anzhi Makhachkala in a friendly match held in Antalya’s Mardan stadium, Turkey.
The first goal for Shakhtar Donetsk FC was scored by Armenia's Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
“We demonstrated a good game. Though we felt a little tired in the second half giving the initiative to the rival, we managed to pull ourselves together to secure a win in the final match,” FC Shakhtar official website quoted Mkhitaryan as saying.
The midfielder further noted that the team practice session was remarkable for the head coach Mircea Lucescu’s presence and instructions during it.
