Among the young scholars, who won the Russian President’s grant, was candidate of technical sciences, assistant professor of the department of machine details of the North-Caucasian Engineering University Anania Bariyan. His research focuses on the problem of self-sharpening of cutter bars. Bariyan has discovered a method to restore the sharpness of cutters via self-sharpening, at the same time extending the term of their usage. As reported by Yerkramas newspaper of Armenians of south of Russia, now the country industry awaits his recommendations on how to put the theory into practice. Especially it is necessary for food industry workers.
