In the 21st round of Ukrainian Football Championship Shakhtar Donetsk FC faced FC Dnepr. The guests were the first to open the score, with Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s goal helping to tie the match at the 40th minute.
“Though my team members were physically were trained and dictated game rules to the rival, they seemed to hurry to achieve positive results. The latter led to a large number of mistakes,” the FC official website quoted Mircea Lucescu, the head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk as saying.
Shakhtar gained 52 points to come 2nd on the standings. FC Dynamo Kyiv currently leads the championship with 55 points.
