RUSSIAN ROSTOV REGION GOVERNOR GOT ORDER “FOR KIND TREATMENT OF ARMENIANS”

In Yerevan Governor of the Russian Rostov region Vladimir Chub was awarded the honorary order of Russian-Armenian University for strengthening the Armenian-Russian relations and “for kind treatment of Armenians of the Rostov region.” In V. Chub’s words, there are many things tying together Armenians and Rostov residents – starting with Don Cossacks helping Armenians during the genocide in the Ottoman Turkey and ending with today’s cooperation in science and arts. By the way, the ministry of transport of the Russian region is headed by an Armenian.
