The anti-corruption struggle launched by the new Georgian leadership has already reached the Samtskhe-Javakheti region inhabited by Armenians. As reported by A-info agency, head of social maintenance department of the Ninotsminda region Derenik Durgarian was charged of bribery and malversation and arrested the other day. The warnings about possible resignations and arrests of number of officials can be heard in the Akhalkalaki region as well. According to the source, the local opposition states such actions as revanchism of new Georgia’s authorities.
